Reflecting on a Dying Man

exaquis A profoundly beautiful piece from an artist whose music has left an immeasurable impact on mine since The Ridges in 2016. Through every aspect (the stories, titles, lyrics, composition) this album always finds a way bring me to tears. In very few albums I see this much musical breadth and depth covered without sacrificing an ounce of cohesiveness or ability to touch the listener. A splendid pictureless movie.

(The mantra on The Mountaineer is just chilling)

I don't do AOTYs but this is IT Favorite track: The Mountaineer (ft. Sheenah Ko).

bowenarrow Hell yeah. The next evolution of a limitless artist. Endless emotion, power, and creativity. Should probably be in the movies or sound installations. = After discovering this artist via The Ridges, they've taken several new turns, including Lullabies For Broken Spirits, a noise album on BLCR, and a collaboration with the artist Sangam called "The Ocean Between Us" Favorite track: Chemical Valley.
55 Shades Of Blue

55 Shades Of Blue This album is amazing, taking something so personal and externalizing it to the world as art!!!!! I love Diamondstein aesthetics as well as his ability to evolutionize his sound into something truly special! Favorite track: Cold to Touch.
