The latest entry to the cult favorite compilation series is the soundtrack to your next dance party, featuring an all-star lineup of Skylar Spence, Dan Mason, luxury elite, FIBRE, Eyeliner, VAPERROR, Lighght, Discoholic, MARS2006 x POPCULTR, and Skeleton Lipstick.
Following last year's hit, Vol. V, Doom Trip's sixth annual mix shifts its focus to the dancefloor, packing 10 flawless cuts. The music here is joyous, energetic, and vivid. With each artist bringing their A-game, listeners will find the momentum sustained throughout the 40-minute runtime.
The word is disco. Whether you're looking to fill the room or throw a private house party, Doom Mix, Vol. VI will keep the energy alive. Just put the record on and let the sounds of nu disco, vaporwave, future funk, and club music take hold of your soul.
The Doom Mix series began in 2017 with the goal of creating a compilation that captured a wide range of underground sounds, united by their quality more than their approach to music. It was instantly well-received and its success kickstarted a string of releases that would end up as some of our label's most popular drops.
Featuring artists like Dntel, Eartheater, Fire-Toolz, HOTT MT, Skylar Spence, Mukqs, Giant Claw, Nmesh, Luxury Elite, Swan Meat, Diamondstein, Sangam, and so many others, these compilations have loosely focused on electronic music while leaving plenty of room for dance, ambient, psych, club, prog, and noise.
With this year's volume, the focus is on the power of dance music. Every track is club ready, with stunning entries from artists like Skylar Spence, FIBRE, luxury elite, and Discoholic. The collection is notable not just for its quality, but for the context that these tracks exist within their respective producers' discographies. While many of these names are known for their pioneering work in the vaporwave scene, there isn't much on the release that can actually be considered vaporwave. Instead, the boundaries of that genre are pushed to the point of becoming something new, with these approaches all neatly collected on one release.
Doom Trip is endlessly thankful for the fans and friends who have supported these releases in the past few years. We do what we do for you, and it means so much to us to see people enjoying the compilations. Thank you for listening.

Hard to say something about this album that hasn't been said before. One of the pillars the genre stands on and some of my emotions and memories can only be accessed when hearing some of these songs ♥ PepekBezlepek
